This store is rather unique. Unlike some establishments that have a decidedly Victorian or European flavor and are priced accordingly, Old Town Antiques offers something for everyone and every budget. We believe that an antique store can be a wonderful place without having to display an impressive $10,000 antique bedroom set!
This is not to say that we don't carry some beautiful and desirable items because we do. You'll find some absolutely stunning pieces in this store. But you won't be stunned by the cost. We price things to move because we want them in your home, not in our store.
| You won't find any disarray here! We dust often and keep a ton of beautiful and vintage lights on in all areas so you have a clean bright view of what you see. Keeping a store like this takes a great deal of time but we, and many of our more vocal customers, think it is worth it. |
|
| Past all the wonderful western art on the wall and with our nautical section on your left you'll enter the costume area. With a Mexican machinegun team watching you'll see some great vintage prairie dresses, leather fringe coats and leather vests. |
|
Through the costume area and then into the "Babies and Brides/Linen and Lace" room where you'll see beautiful vintage ladies hats, kerchiefs, furniture and old linens. Next room before the backyard is the Levi room where you can get your jeans, boots and western shirts just in time for the big barn dance! |
Outside you'll be amazed with the incredible collection of rust! It may take you a half-hour to see it all but you'll have fun looking. Coming back into the store you'll notice a large bookshelf full of vintage postcards, photographs and, of course, books. We even have a comfortable chair there for you to sit and enjoy a few minutes of reading. Then you can go into our "kitchen" where you'll find just about anything you'll ever need from wonderful hoosiers to meat cleavers to glasswares.
Past the glass and pottery you'll turn up into the loft. This is our "white" area and you can locate your drippy chandeliers and Victorian statues and chic furniture here. Past this you'll be in men's domain where you can fine everything for your guy from fishing tackle to old tools...and plenty of Coleman lanterns. Back here is the Old Town Coleman Museum and is it ever growning!
