* Dealer Information *

We are accepting dealers for our inside area waiting list. There is a small outside courtyard area available. Please call the store for updated information.

  • Commission on all sales is 10%.

  • There is no work requirement for the store.

  • Consignments are only accepted on high-end and/or very unique items due to space limitations. If you have an item you would like to consign please bring or email a photograph for our consideration. The item(s) must be clean, presentable and in "house-ready" condition requiring no repair. Our commission rate is 30%.

    * Dealer Requirements *

    We will only accept dealers into the Old Town Mercantile under the following conditions:

    - you must have experience. The ability to find the "right" items and the talent to properly merchandise them comes with experience. We cannot always take the time to assist dealers in pricing or merchandising nor can we allow the visual appeal of the mall to fall with substandard merchandise or ineffective displays.

    - you must have sufficient merchandise. If you only have a limited number of items to sell and no means or desire to constantly update your merchandise then we are not your store. When an item leaves the mall we like to have it replaced as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.

    - no junk dealers. There is a place for everything but not in the Mercantile. Items that are dirty, in disrepair or inappropriate for an antique store are considered substandard and are not allowed in the mall. We do not have, nor will we accept, dealers who's merchandise borders Thrift Shop quality or those who simply throw their merchandise in their space and leave.

    - you must have a "we" attitude about the mall atmosphere. We have a perfect mix of dealers--that is, we all get along and all exchange ideas to make the Mercantile an always growing and exciting place. "We" all have a personal interest in the store and we want dealers who share our goals and expectations.
